🔴Investing in Dividend Paying Stocks or ETF Dividend Funds Which is Best

12:06
Investing in Dividend Paying Stocks or ETF Dividend Funds Which is Best Should I Invest in a Dividend ETF or a Dividend Paying Individual Stock? Exchange Traded Fund that invest in multiple companies that payout the highest dividends. VS. Buying your own stocks and managing them yourself. Key Advantages to Dividend Investing Shareholders and Investors that accumulate a portfolio of dividend-paying stocks or ETF Funds over many years will build up a large number of shares. As years go by, your $50 in dividend income will expand to $100, then grow to $1,000 and more. It will accumulate. Those dividends that are paid out, will grow into more equity in your stock or ETF if the dividend is reinvested. Advantages of Dividend ETF Funds 1. Save Time - Individual Stocks take more time in managing and monitoring. 2. Diversified - Many of the ETF funds will invest in 50 companies or more and if one individual company drops dramatically in price, this will not hurt you. 3. There is less time in analyzing which stock you should add additional money to your portfolio. 4. More advantageous to the small investor. 5. Less Commissions 6. Stock Market Risk may be less. Advantages of Buying Individual Stocks for Dividend Payout. 1. You can customize the returns and sectors. 2. You can change a stock in your own portfolio if you feel it is not performing. 3. Higher Total Return can be achieved. Summary There are advantages and disadvantages to both strategies. The most important thing is to get started. If you are a new investor, the ETF Strategy would be the easiest strategy to implement. If a person has the time to manage and monitor individual stocks and has the experience and know-how, then individual stocks can work the best. Dividend growth investing is an excellent long term strategy that works.

BEST ETFs FOR 2018

09:57
These are the best ETFs for 2018! I chose these 4 ETFs as the best ETFs for 2018 is because they have produced excellent returns with low volatility. ETFs are a great way to get exposed to many stocks with one security, and they are usually less volatile than picking single stocks. ETFs are the way to go for investors who want to "set it and forget it". (VUG) VANGUARD GROWTH FUND - This is the single largest holding in my own personal portfoli - Give you exposure to 313 US large cap growth companies that are relatively stable - 1 year ROI = 24.27% vs. 17.93% SP 500 - 5 year ROI = 101.57% vs. 89.06% SP 500 - Top 10 Holdings = Apple, Amazon, Facebook, Alphabet (Google), Visa, Home Depot, Coca Cola, Comcast, Philip Morris - VUG holds a good mix of large cap growth companies with a solid 1.18% dividend yield make this a staple in my portfolio. (SPY) SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust - Launched in 1993, this is literally the oldest ETF in existence, and it’s been one of the most solid over the years. - The spider S&P 500 tracks all of the companies contained within...You guessed it… the S&P 500! - 1 year ROI = 18.05% - 5 year ROI = 89.61% - Top 10 holdings are Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, Johnson & Johnson, Berkshire Hathaway, JP Morgan Chase, Exxon, Google, Bank of America - This is for investors who want just a little less volatility than you would get with a growth ETF like VUG - This is a great “set it and forget it" ETF that you just add to monthly (VYM) VANGUARD High Dividend Yield - Dividend-paying stocks tend to perform better, as a group, than non-dividend stocks, and also generally do better during tough economic times. - For investors who want exposure to rock-solid dividend stocks, but don't want the guesswork and risk involved with choosing individual stocks - Invests in 401 stocks that pay higher-than-average dividend yields, and specifically excludes REITs - 1 year ROI = 12.36% - 5 year ROI= 73.34% - Top 10 holdings are microsoft, J&J, JP Morgan Chase, Exxon mobil, wells fargo, Procter & gamble, chevron, at&t, pfizer, intel - The dividend yield = 2.85% ARK ETF Trust - The ARK ETF is an actively-managed fund that focuses on companies working in next-generation sectors, like cloud computing and Big Data. It has a nice mixture of recognizable names, as well as lesser-known speculative companies. - BitCoin Investment Trust is the top holding in ARK, and this fund is banking heavily on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. While that may seem like an unnecessarily heavy risk, I believe could possibly pay off handsomely. - 1 year ROI = 85.34% - Since Oct 2014 = 139% - Top 10 holdings: bitcoin investment trust, amazon, athena health, twitter, tesla, 2U inc, netflix, nvidia, google, mercadolibre. Bitcoin and the blockchain are the ultimate disruptors. Two Optimized Dividend ETFs for Income Seekers

03:18
As the U.S. anticipates greater rate risk ahead for the fixed-income markets, more income-minded investors are steering towards dividend stocks and dividend ETFs to bolster yield generation. "A lot of advisors are really sort of in a pickle trying to find income when it comes to high levels of income for their advisory - their end users, and what we're seeing is that a lot of advisors are really moving outside the more traditional fixed income portfolios and finding yields elsewhere," Lance McGray, Managing Director and Head of ETF Product at Advisors Asset Management, said at the Inside ETFs 2018 conference. In response to the ongoing demand for yields, Advisor Asset Management recently rolled out the AAM S&P 500 High Dividend Value ETF (NYSEArca: SPDV) and the AAM S&P Emerging Markets High Dividend Value ETF (NYSEArca: EEMD).

Best Dividend Stocks to Invest in 2018

10:18
What are the 10 Best Dividend Stocks for an Investment in 2018? These 10 stock picks are dividend stocks for 2018 that are critical for investors looking for dividends for their portfolio. The purpose today is to go over 10 stocks (and a bonus stock - so 11 total!) that you could consider as part of a dividend play in your portfolio. All 10 of these picks provide a yield of over 2% and I feel that for most cases you should strive for over 2% yield if your strategy is dividends. Anything below that is typically not worth it, unless a company is expected to raise dividends soon. You may be better off looking at some banks that offers GICs and such which usually guarantees a yield less than 2% if that's the route you want to go for less than 2% plays. So coming in at #10 is a drink everyone has heard of (and most likely tried before) - KO -Coca Cola is one of Buffets long term holds, and its a solid company -Provides stability and diversity in your portfolio -KO provides a 3.02% yield In at #9 is one of the dominant players in semiconductors that is most likely powering your computer - INTC -Strong company, stable growth and performance YoY -They bring in a 2.31% yield which is impressive seeing as this company will probably keep growing in the near future #8 was the #1 performer in the DOW in 2017 up over 89% and providing an excellent dividend - and that's BA -Aerospace company that again provides exposure to a different sector outside tech -Brings in a dividend of 2.07% #7 is a company that is widely used, but not many people talk about - MMM -If you've ever had to tape something, you've most likely used a 3M product -This is a very underrated stock and it had an incredible 2017 as well -3M gives us a 2.32% yield and is one of the safer plays out there as they are so dominant in their space Planning a home renovation? Chances are you will drop by a HD - which is my #6 pick -ANother stock that had an incredibly 2017, and with home sales doing well, this will continue doing well -HD gives us a 2.32% dividend #5 is a company I've talked about investing in before - JNJ -They are big in the healthcare space, but my only concern right now is AMZN entering this space -Nonetheless, they still provide a solid dividend at 2.54% Can I have fries with that? MCD is my #4 pick -This is a stock I personally hold in my portfolio for the safety and dividends, but I also believe they will have good growth in 2018 and 2019 -They have made advancements using technology and apps to increase sales and I believe that will show in their profits and revenue -MCD gives us a 2.55% dividend #3 is a company that typically partners with MCD, at least here in Canada, and was a top pick for 2018 by me - WMT -The only true company IMO that can compete with AMZN -They are making advancements with online shopping, and AMZN really needs a #2 competitor and I believe that is WMT -WMT gives us a 2.37% dividend yield as well #2 is a company that profits from our garbage - WM -Well run company with great growth -They provide a 2.15% dividends Finally, #1 on the list is a company that continues to benefit from the strong economy - CAT -Dominant player in their space, and I don't see that changing anytime soon -Along with good growth, it gives us a 2.05% growth Here is a summary: 1) CAT - 2.05% 2) WM - 2.15% 3) WMT - 2.37% 4) MCD - 2.55% 5) JNJ - 2.54% 6) HD - 2.32% 7) MMM - 2.32% 8) BA - 2.07% 9) INTC - 2.31% 10) KO - 3.02% So that's my top 10. As a bonus, I included another stock - AAPL. They currently only pay a 1.41% yield, but investors are expecting this to go up significantly over the coming years as iPhone sales slow down. Apple's true future business isn't the iPhone - it's services and cloud - and as they rake in BILLIONS in profits here, they will most likely raise their dividend over the years. So now I turn it over to you - what are some dividend plays that you think are a must-have in a portfolio? I know there are TONS of other's other there ($PFE, $VZ, etc.) so I'd like to see some discussion here. Thank you for watching! Actively Managed Funds In Canada Are Still Terrible

06:42
As at the end of 2017, Canadians still had 88.8% of their mutual fund and ETF assets invested in actively managed products. This would all be fine if actively managed funds were delivering any semblance of decent performance. Unfortunately, the performance of actively managed funds continues to be dismal. Best Cannabis ETFs to buy in 2018

10:50
In this video I'll be going over 2 ETFs that are cannabis related that I think are solid ETFs in the cannabis/ marijuana industry. When investing in marijuana stocks a lot of risk is taken as many of these companies aren't profitable yet and future profitability is based off of whether or not certain laws and policies are passed. I think this is very risky and a much better way to invest in marijuana is to invest in ETFs as they are more diverse and can offer broader options. How Safe is Altria's Dividend?

04:48
In this video, we perform a deep dive on Altria's dividend safety. For many years, Altria has been one of the world’s most well-known blue chip stocks because of its remarkable performance. The company has been one of the best-performing stocks over the last five decades. You can view our full list of blue chip stocks here: https://www.suredividend.com/blue-chip-stocks/ Altria is also popular among income investors because of its exceptionally high dividend yield. The company trades with a yield above 5% today. You can view our full list of high dividend stocks here: https://www.suredividend.com/high-dividend-stocks/ Looking ahead, Altria’s high dividend yield has led many investors to question the safety of its future dividend payments. In this video, we will discuss Altria current dividend safety from four perspectives: it’s dividend safety in the context of its current earnings, its dividend safety in the context of its current free cash flow, its dividend safety in the context of its recession performance, and its dividend safety in the context of its current debt load. --- When Altria executives presented at the Barclays Global Consumer Staples Conference on September 5th, the company reaffirmed its financial guidance for fiscal 2018. The company continues to expect to generate full-year adjusted earnings-per-share between $3.94 and $4.03. For context, Altria currently pays an annualized dividend of $3.20 per share. This implies a dividend payout ratio of 80% using the midpoint of the company’s 2018 earnings guidance. --- Many analysts believe that comparing a company’s dividend payments to its free cash flow is a better method for assessing dividend safety. Accordingly, we will now compare Altria’s current dividend payment to its free cash flow. In fiscal 2017, Altria generated $4.922 billion of cash from operating activities and spent just $199 million on capital expenditures. This implies full-year free cash flow of $4.723 billion. For context, the company paid $4.807 billion in common share dividends during the same time period. Using free cash flow, Altria’s dividend payout ratio is currently above 100%. Investors should closely monitor this moving forward, as this will be unsustainable over long periods of time. Fortunately, the situation was quite a bit better in the most recent reporting period. Through the six month period ending June 30th, 2018, Altria generated free cash flow of $3.778 billion and spent $2.585 billion on common share dividends for a free cash flow payout ratio of 68%. We believe that 2017’s high free cash flow payout ratio was an anomaly and that overall, Altria’s dividend is safe when measured by free cash flow. --- Companies do not cut their dividends in the good times. Instead, dividends are reduced when companies experience financial difficulties. Accordingly, this section will analyze Altria’s current dividend safety in the context of the company’s historical recession performance. We believe that the best way to measure a company’s recession resiliency is by measuring its earnings-per-share performance during the financial crisis that occurred between 2007 and 2009. Altria’s performance during this time period is shown here. 2008 earnings-per-share: $1.66 2009 earnings-per-share: $1.76 2010 earnings-per-share: $1.87 As you can see, Altria’s earnings-per-share rose each year of the financial crisis. Accordingly, we have no concerns about the company’s ability to rising dividends through future economic downturns. --- The last angle that we will use to assess Altria’s current dividend safety is by looking at the company’s current debt level. More specifically, we will see how much the company’s weighted average interest rate will need to increase before Altria’s free cash flow will no longer cover its dividend payment. At the end of the most recent reporting period, Altria had exactly $14 billion of debt outstanding. Through the first six months of fiscal 2018, the company generated $344 million of interest expense, which implies a weighted average interest rate of 4.9%. The image included in our video shows how changes to Altria’s weighted average interest rate would impact the company’s dividend coverage, as measured by free cash flow. Altria’s weighted average interest rate would need to rise above the 20% level before its dividend would no longer be covered by free cash flow. Accordingly, our opinion remains unchanged. Altria’s dividend appears to be very safe for the foreseeable future.

Warren Buffett's Best Investment Advice: Buy Index Funds

23:55
http://www.LifeStyleTrading101.com Warren Buffett is perhaps the most successful and celebrated investor of the 20th century and his results have only been getting better as he ages. ★☆★ VIEW THE BLOG POST: ★☆★ http://www.lifestyletrading101.com/warren-buffetts-best-investment-advice-buy-index-funds/ =========================== Of course, that’s largely due to his ability to pick stocks that outperform the market. But during his lifetime, the stock market has actually gone up quite a bit, despite the dot com and financial crisis. Anyone who bought and hold would be doing quite well as well. You don’t necessarily need to pick the best stock winners. Simply getting exposed to the overall market in a diversified manner would have given you solid returns over time. In fact, that’s exactly what Warren Buffett recommends and is doing himself. On page 20 of The 2013 Berkshire Hathaway Annual Report to Shareholders (PDF), he talks about how he is allocating 90% of his estate for his heirs to be invested in the S&P500 index fund – and that’s what he recommends to the average investor. ====================== What This Means For You Warren Buffett’s favorite investing strategy can be essentially boiled to a few key takeaways: 1) Buy a low-cost index fund – either through ETFs such as SPY or VOO — or directly with Vanguard. 2) Buy in pieces over a period of time (dollar-cost-averaging) 3) Hold. In his annual report, Buffett specifically recommends the Vanguard S&P500 Index Fund. ★☆★ Part 2: Executing Buffett's Advice ★☆★ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STMg_6qpV4Y ★☆★ Subscribe on Youtube ★☆★ http://www.youtube.com/lifestyletrading101x Instagram ►http://www.instagram.com/lifestyletrading101

INVESTING IN INDEX FUNDS 📈 Best Vanguard Index Funds To Invest In!

05:47
In this video we will be talking about index funds and exchange traded funds or ETF's. Here are the index funds or ETF's that I recommend investing in. I recommend investing in Vanguard index funds. Vanguard index funds have some of the lowest expense ratios in the industry. While it may not seem like a lot, high expense funds could be costing you a significant amount of money in the long run. It is important to consider the expense ratio of any fund you invest in. Mutual funds typically have a much higher expense ratio compared to index funds. Here are the Vanguard index funds I recommend! This is the ETF listing as well as the index fund listing. 1. Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF ($VTI) 2. Vanguard Total International Stock ETF ($VXUS) 3. Vanguard Total World Stock ETF ($VT) 4. Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund ($VTSAX) 5. Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund ($VTIAX) 6. Best Oil ETF's for 2018

12:10
In this video I go over what I think are the best ETF's for investing in oil. I obviously think that oil will continue to rally into 2018 and beyond. I expect oil to be trading in the $70-$80 range in 2018 and then revert back to $100+ in 2019 and 2020. I think ETF's are a great way to play this trend. With ETF's you get less risk than investing in just one security because ETF's hold a basket of securities. Therefor if oil weren't to continue to climb higher (which I don't see) you don't face the risk of bankruptcy that is possible with individual oil stocks that have a higher debt load. Each ETF has different risk profile that is suitable for people with different risk tolerances. I recommend diversifying and holding some of all of the ETF's mentioned and just weighting them differently based on your risk tolerance.

Lessons Learned from Investing $1 Billion (Stock vs ETF vs Mutual Fund Investing) - Part 1 of 2

50:55
Download the audio version and get the giveaway here: www.buildwealthcanada.ca/20 Today I’m thrilled to have Peter Hodson on the show who is the owner of 5i Research, the Canadian MoneySaver Magazine, and in his investment career, has managed over $1-billion dollars in assets. How cool is that! I’ve always wanted to have Peter on the show to pick his brain about investing best practices here in Canada, and see what he learned over his decades of professional investing. Peter and his team have also been generous in providing Build Wealth Canada listeners with a special offer where you can get your investment questions answered, and learn more investment best practices by getting a free trial membership over at 5i Research. Questions Covered: Can you start by telling us your background, and your story from your days on Bay Street, to now running 5i Research and owning Canadian MoneySaver magazine? In Canada it seems that investors fall into one of 5 main categories. They either: Buy mutual funds Buy indexes Buy individual stocks for growth Buy individual stocks for dividends Buy a combination of the above. Can you walk us through these options and how do we decide what type of investing is right for us? Before we dive into more detail and talk about 5i, what are some key investing lessons that you've learned over the years that we can apply to our own investing lives? Let's talk about 5i Research. For those Canadians that haven't heard of 5i, can you tell us more about what it is that you do, and how is 5i different? You have a model portfolio for growth, and another for income on 5i. Can you explain the difference between the two and how do we know which one to follow based on our situation? How do we choose between a growth vs a balanced portfolio? How have these portfolios been performing compared to the index? Why don't I just invest in indexes instead of following the 5i portfolio? Is it just because of the potential for higher returns or are there some other advantages or disadvantages? (ex. greater diversification among different industries) What if I don't want to be researching and analyzing individual companies. Is 5i still a good fit for me? (i.e. can I just model your portfolio and not do anything else other than re-balance?). Or, do I need to be actively researching the companies you suggest after your initial recommendation to ensure that they are still a good fit? Is your portfolio just for Canadian companies? If so, what sort of asset allocation do you suggest outside of Canada for diversification purposes? Would you recommend using the 5i portfolio completely for the Canadian portion of our portfolio, and then use ETFs for international exposure? ETFs that model a broad market index can now be purchased for free from certain discount brokerages here in Canada. If we are to follow the 5i portfolio, then we now have to deal with paying transaction costs every time that we purchase a stock. If somebody would like to invest a set percentage of their salary every month, what's the step-by-step process that they should take to do it most efficiently and to minimize fees while still being diversified (which is hard to do if you're only buying one company or two at a time)? Would this workflow/strategy change depending on how much someone has to invest every month? What if we have a lump sum to invest? Should I use my TFSA or RRSP for the 5i portfolio? What about using an unregistered account? Should I ever be using that instead? (i.e. preferential tax treatment on dividends). Does this vary based on whether I follow your income portfolio vs your growth portfolio? Your portfolio has done really well. What if we're concerned that we've missed the boat and are now buying these companies when their prices are already at their peak (especially for those companies that have done really well)? What are your thoughts on asset allocation between stocks and bonds? Do you recommend bonds? If not, what do you suggest? You assign a letter grade to the stocks in your portfolio too. Is that more if we aren't following your portfolio and are just picking and choosing stocks? For our ETF portion of the portfolio, what are your thoughts on more targeted ETFs like small cap ETFs vs just going for the broad market index? The more targeted ones can have higher fees so is it worth it since now your return has to try to offset those?

Marijuana ETF in Canada passes $1 billion in assets as weed stocks light it up

04:24
The investing market was abuzz this week with Fidelity Investments new no-fee index funds reaching near-$1 billion in assets, but it took Fidelity two funds to get it done, while a single Canadian marijuana ETF passed the $1 billion market this week on its own. And it didnt even have the help of Fridays free weed-smoking advertisement from Elon Musk . The Horizons Marijuana Life Sciences Index ETF ( HMMJ ) tracks companies activities in the marijuana industry, and as of Sept. 5 it was above the $1 billion mark Canadian. To be fair, that translates to a little more than $758 million in U.S. currency at the current exchange rate, but it is still considerable growth for an ETF that launched in April 2017, just a little over a year ago. Chris Roussakis | Bloomberg | Getty Images Employees work at the Canopy Growth facility in Smith Falls, Ontario, Canada, Dec. 19, 2017. While marijuana stocks have been volatile, their performance has taken off in the past month since liquor giant Constellation Brands announced a $4 billion investment in marijuana company Canopy Growth . Molson Coors Brewing and Diageo also have taken stakes in Canadian marijuana companies. HMMJ is up 43 percent in the past month, according to Morningstar. The U.S.-listed weed ETF ETFMG Alternative Harvest ETF (MJ) was the best-performing ETF in August and is nearing $500 million in assets. Although up 28 percent this past month, volatility led to only a 6 percent year-to-date return. HMMJ is up 22 percent this year. Some investing experts caution that these stocks are trading at multiples that reflect future, not current sales and earnings, and it is a difficult sector in which to make growth estimates. Cronos Group, the top holding in MJ and fifth-largest holding in HMMJ, is a current target of short-seller Andrew Left, who claims it is overvalued by two-thirds. In Canada the federal legalization of marijuana is imminent, scheduled for Oct. 17. Last October, Constellation took a 9.9 percent stake in Canada-headquartered Canopy Growth . Canopy is the second-largest holding in HMMJ and MJ. Overall, HMMJ holds 40 stocks, with a focus on medical marijuana, but it does reach with some of its holdings, such as fertilizer company Scotts Miracle-Gro (its sixth-largest holding), though Scotts Miracle-Gro did buy Sunlight Supply, the leading U.S. hydroponics distributor, last April. Several of its holdings are drug companies working on synthetic marijuana products, such as Insys Therapeutics , best known for its controversial opioid painkiller Subsys. Over the past year, weve come to better understand the cannabis market, the tremendous growth opportunity it presents and Canopys market-leading capabilities in this space, Constellation Brands CEO Rob Sands said in a statement announcing the $4 billion investment. We think the premium paid as well as the size of [Constellations] investment reflects the long-term attractiveness of the global cannabis opportunity, Cowen analysts said in a note analyzing the deal. Horizons management team said in a statement Friday that the assets far exceeded our expectations and pointed to the anticipation of Canadas upcoming recreational marijuana legalization. It also said that investors may be opting for ETFs over individual stocks since nobody knows for sure which companies will truly be successful over the long term or even be swallowed up.

Dividend ETFs Sought for Solid Revenue Streams

08:20
https://goo.gl/QPCkqk - Start earning with binary options like millions of traders do Seasoned investors know the importance of dividends, particularly when investing over the long-term. Historical data suggest reinvested dividends can account for 40% or more of total returns over long holding periods. Another advantage of dividend stocks is that, historically, dividend payers are less volatile than their non-payout counterparts. And with dividend stocks being less volatile and experiencing smaller drawdowns during bear markets, dividend payers often perform stocks that do not have payouts over the long haul. For investors that do not want to pick individual dividend stocks or that want to supplement such allocations with diversified baskets of dividend payers, there is no shortage of dividend-oriented exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for North American investors to consider. In fact, there are nearly 200 dividend ETFs available on U.S. and Canadian exchanges. Five of the 100 largest U.S.-listed ETFs are dividend funds and as a sub-category of the smart beta universe, dividend ETFs are one of the biggest contributors to combined smart beta assets and asset growth. Exploring Different Dividend ETF Strategies While there are scores of dividends ETFs to consider, many of which have names that imply these funds are almost twins, investors should be careful to note that not all dividend ETFs deliver income in the same way. One of the most popular weighting methodologies for dividend ETFs is selecting stocks with a requisite dividend increase. For example, several of the largest dividend ETFs mandate stocks included in the fund have minimum dividend increase streaks of 10, 20 or 25 years. The S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats Index requires its components to have payout increase streaks of at least 20 years while the S&P 500 High Yield Dividend Aristocrats Index has a 25-year dividend increase streak mandate. There are ETFs dedicated to both benchmarks. The Vanguard Dividend Appreciation ETF (VIG) is home to nearly $24 billion in assets, making it the world's largest dividend ETF. It tracks the NASDAQ US Dividend Achievers Select Index, which holds companies with minimum payout increase streaks of 10 years. Advantages of emphasizing payout consistency include the potential for an ETF's roster to be comprised of quality companies with strong balance sheets that can afford their current dividend obligations as well as being able to afford future payout increases. Another popular strategy used by providers of dividend ETFs is weighting components by yield. Typically, yield-weighted ETFs have dividend yields that are noticeably above broader equity benchmarks and government bonds. That is the goods news. The risk with yield-weighted strategies is that they are typically heavy on defensive, high-yielding sectors that are not only richly valued, but also highly sensitive to interest rate changes due to their bond-like traits. Additionally, some high-yield dividend payers hail from companies that are not financially hea

MARIJUANA STOCKS TO BUY IN 2018

07:11
Today I go over 4 marijuana stocks to watch in 2018 - these are weed stocks that I think will explode going from 2017 to 2018. This is a new sector where investors are just starting to get into, and we have some big players already in this space. Major companies like Constellation Brands and Shoppers Drug Mart are investing in the marijuana industry and we as investors should capitalize on this as well! In this video, I go over 4 picks - Canopy Growth Corporation (WEED), Aurora Cannabis Inc. (ACB), Aphria Inc. (APH) and a Marijuana ETF (HMMJ) that is managed by Horizons here in Canada. All of these companies are traded on the TSX - Toronto Stock Exchange - in Canada. Some are available on US exchanges like the NASDAQ or NYSE. I got this idea from fellow YouTuber Nate O'Brein and I hope this video provides some value. I compared the big 3 and gave you guys some key stats on what the differences are between them so you can make an informed decision on which company to invest in out of these that I covered to get some exposure in this new and up and coming industry.
