Why Your Proportions are Wrong and How to Fix Them

When you start a drawing, do you jump right in to drawing all the small parts? Knock it off! Subscribe to Proko: http://bit.ly/SubProko If you’re not an advanced artist with a well trained eye, starting with details usually ends with wacky proportions. In this student critique, we’ll examine the work of two students who focused on drawing foot bones without following the big-to-small hierarchy. I’ll show you a 2D technique called “enveloping” and then a 3D process that helps keep your forms dynamic and in proportion. Woo! PREMIUM - Want more? Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata (FULL)

15:00
Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata (FULL) - Piano Sonata No. 14 http://www.facebook.com/9Beethoven https://twitter.com/YtAndrearomano6 The Piano Sonata No. 14 in C♯ minor "Quasi una fantasia", op. 27, No. 2, by Ludwig van Beethoven The sonata has three movements: 1 mvt: Adagio sostenuto. 2 mvt: Allegretto (click to go at 6:00 min). 3 mvt: Presto agitato (click to go at 8:05 min). Adagio sostenuto The first movement, in C♯ minor, is written in an approximate truncated sonata form. The movement opens with an octave in the left hand and a triplet figuration in the right. A melody that Hector Berlioz called a "lamentation", mostly by the right hand, is played against an accompanying ostinato triplet rhythm, simultaneously played by the right hand. The movement is played pianissimo or "very quietly", and the loudest it gets is mezzo forte or "moderately loud". The adagio sostenuto has made a powerful impression on many listeners; for instance, Berlioz said of it that it "is one of those poems that human language does not know how to qualify. The work was very popular in Beethoven's day, to the point of exasperating the composer himself, who remarked to Carl Czerny, "Surely I've written better things. Allegretto The second movement is a relatively conventional scherzo and trio, a moment of relative calm written in D-flat major, the enharmonic equivalent of C♯ major, the more easily-notated parallel major of C♯ minor. Franz Liszt described the second movement as "a flower between two chasms."[citation needed] The slight majority of the movement is in piano, but a handful of sforzandos and forte-pianos helps to maintain the movement's cheerful disposition. Presto agitato The stormy final movement (C♯ minor), in sonata form, is the weightiest of the three, reflecting an experiment of Beethoven's (also carried out in the companion sonata, Opus 27, No. 1 and later on in Opus 101) placement of the most important movement of the sonata last. The writing has many fast arpeggios and strongly accented notes, and an effective performance demands lively and skillful playing. It is thought that the C-sharp minor sonata, particularly the third movement, was the inspiration for Frédéric Chopin's Fantaisie-Impromptu, which manifests the key relationships of the sonata's three movements. Of the final movement, Charles Rosen has written "it is the most unbridled in its representation of emotion. Even today, two hundred years later, its ferocity is astonishing. Beethoven's heavy use of sforzando notes, together with just a few strategically located fortissimo passages, creates the sense of a very powerful sound in spite of the predominance of piano markings throughout. Within this turbulent sonata-allegro, there are two main themes, with a variety of variation techniques utilized. Beethoven's pedal mark See also: Piano history and musical performance, Mute (music), and Piano pedals#Beethoven and pedals At the opening of the work, Beethoven included a written direction that the sustain pedal should be depressed for the entire duration of the first movement. The Italian reads: "Si deve suonare tutto questo pezzo delicatissimamente e senza sordino". ("One must play this whole piece [meaning "movement"] very delicately and without dampers.") The modern piano has a much longer sustain time than the instruments of Beethoven's day, leaving for a rather blurry and dissonant tone. One option for dealing with this problem is to perform the work on a restored or replicated piano of the kind Beethoven knew. Proponents of historically informed performance using such pianos have found it feasible to perform the work respecting Beethoven's original direction.

Mr. Carl Fredricksen Inspired Doll - Polymer Clay Tutorial (Disney's UP)

13:08
Hey Guys! Today's tutorial is inspired by Carl from Disney's up. This is far from perfect and I'm going to be very honest; I was in such a rush when making this doll, and Again, in such a rush when editing. I made the sculpture yesterday, but due to the late start I had to do all the decorating, wigging, dressing and making of his accessories today before I had to start editing... not ideal,. not ideal at all! nonetheless, I hope you'll enjoy. I used polymer clay for the doll, the hair is White merino and I also used a variety of fabric. If I'd had more time I would've added fuzz to the tennis balls as well, but I literally finished the doll and walking aid a couple of minutes before deadline (of when I had to edit). 30:00
How teapots are made on a throwing wheel. Pottery made from Stoneware clay. Ronald Pothier is a potter from Quebec. Watch as he transforms a hunk of clay into a finished teapot. Ronald Pothier is a potter having started all the way back in 1973 at only the age 13! Today, he works out of his studio in Hemmingford, Quebec where he produces beautiful ceramic pieces of art. Bowls, plates, cups, vases, teapots and more, they are strong and practical for everyday use in your kitchen. Watch as Ronald throws two different teapot designs with such confidence and ease. He makes it look easy but throwing clay on a wheel is quite the workout while also requiring a fine level of finesse. Later on, Ronald explains how he fires, decorates and glazes his pottery and then we see the final result of all the hard work. It's a multistage process that takes several weeks to complete and decades of experience to perfect. Ronald is a fantastic teacher and holds classes on Saturdays. How to get rid of/kill in-ground yellow jacket wasps for good using Delta Dust ANGRY wasps come out

05:49
How I use this dust to kill off in ground wasps, specifically yellow jackets. Best method I've found that doesn't harm people, pets, or your property. When and IF you have to use an insecticide: https://amzn.to/2NTznul Dust mask I was wearing: https://amzn.to/2oJGCtM Bee Suit, I didn't get a single sting: https://amzn.to/2wSyzyO I was also wearing Muck Rubber Boots And Natural Apiary leather gloves cowhide: B014HDITSK I know I know, I'm suddenly a hypocrite because I actually purchased an insecticide. In this case, an 87 year old woman was stopped from doing lawn maintenance (yes, she still does that on her own) because yellow jacket wasps decided to take charge of her backyard. She contacted me several times for help with those "bees"! I knew based on the description that we weren't going to be dealing with bees, but suspected that they would be yellow jackets (wasps). They were in the middle of the yard, not under a tree, or off to the side somewhere and considering her age and potential for being stung many times which could be a serious health risk, I agreed to come and deal with them for her. I did some research first and wanted to use something that wouldn't poison her yard (neighbor wanted to pour diesel fuel in and light it (';') um... please don't. So, I settled on DeltaDust by Bayer, which has Deltamethrin as the active ingredient. As that's frequently used in cat and dog flea collars, I felt I'd break down and use it on the wasps. It's not a risk to mammals and I felt pretty solid about it not becoming an environmental hazard. Deltamethrin at .05% and I suspect the remainder of the powder is composed of diatomaceous earth, aka DE. Which is something I use around the chickens and in the coops. Well, it works as shown in the video. She is happy to have her backyard back with no big black burnt patch to show for it. I'm content with the results and thought a video may be helpful. Thanks for watching as always, and yes, I used an insecticide. Had to happen some day I suppose.

How look after a Friesian horse’s mane and tail Beautiful wasp’s nest.

This video is a bit of a compilation with about a minute of summer footage and then some current, December, footage. The wasps took tiny pieces of wood from the oak posts in front of the stables, it must have taken them weeks. I did see some wasps on them but no more than one or two at a time so I didn't take much notice.

How to Scan Kodak Ektar 100 | Color Negative Film on an Epson V700

19:05
Scanning Kodak Ektar 100 was by far the most difficult process for me to learn when I switched to large format several years ago. I was quite experienced in editing digital RAW files, but color negative film was a completely different animal. The color casts were not like anything I had ever tried to correct before, and I often found myself overwhelmed at where to even start. Gradually I developed a repeatable system that has served me well. I'm certainly no scanning expert and will gladly take any hints that anyone has to offer, but I finally feel confident about shooting and scanning Ektar. For me a successful scan begins with the correct exposure. I have found that color negative film looks terrible when underexposed. Whenever I am metering a scene, I will select the darkest spot in the scene and make sure that area does not dip below and exposure value of -2. Often I'll take a double, and place that area at -1. I am never concerned where the highlights fall as it's nearly impossible to overexpose this film. Once in EsponScan...well, you'll see all that in the video. Thanks for watching!! Also, congratulations to Frederic BONNEAU Photography for winning the lav mic.

Ant philosophy in urdu hindi | Ant and elephant | Habits of successful people

06:45
Ant philosophy in urdu hindi | Ant and elephant They have an amazing four-part philosophy, and here is the first part: ants never quit. That's a good philosophy. If they're headed somewhere and you try to stop them; they'll look for another way. They'll climb over, they'll climb under, and they'll climb around. They keep looking for another way. What a neat philosophy, to never quit looking for a way to get where you're supposed to go. Second, ants think winter all summer. That's an important perspective. You can't be so naive as to think summer will last forever. So ants are gathering in their winter food in the middle of summer. An ancient story says, "Don't build your house on the sand in the summer." Why do we need that advice? Because it is important to be realistic. In the summer, you've got to think storm. You've got to think rocks as you enjoy the sand and sun. Think ahead. The third part of the ant philosophy is that ants think summer all winter. That is so important. During the winter, ants remind themselves, "This won't last long; we'll soon be out of here." And the first warm day, the ants are out. If it turns cold again, they'll dive back down, but then they come out the first warm day. They can't wait to get out. And here's the last part of the ant philosophy. How much will an ant gather during the summer to prepare for the winter? All he possibly can. What an incredible philosophy, the "all-you-possibly-can" philosophy. CHOPIN - Nocturne Op.9 No2 (60 min) Piano Classical Music Concentration Studying Reading Background

01:03:20
CHOPIN - Nocturne No 2 in E Flat Major Op 9 No 2 (60 minutes) Performer : Frank Levy The Nocturnes, Op. 9 are a set of three nocturnes written by Frédéric Chopin between 1830 and 1832, published that year, and dedicated to Madame Emily Chopin. The second nocturne of the work is widely regarded as Chopin's most famous piece, and is regularly featured in films, television programs and video games. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nocturnes,_Op._9_%28Chopin%29 The Chopin nocturnes constitute 21 pieces for solo piano written by Frédéric Chopin between 1827 and 1846. They are generally considered among the finest short solo works for the instrument and hold an important place in contemporary concert repertoire. Although Chopin did not invent the nocturne, he popularized and expanded on it, building on the form developed by Irish composer John Field. The nocturnes numbered 1 to 18 were published during his life, in twos or threes, in the order of composition. Numbers 19 and 20 were actually written first, prior to Chopin's departure from Poland, but published posthumously. Number 20 was not originally entitled "nocturne" at all, but since publication in 1870 as such, is generally included with publications and recordings of the set. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nocturnes_%28Chopin%29 Soundtrack : -- The Eddy Duchin Story (1956) -- 8¨ -- The Big Red One -- Blue Lagoon -- Crush -- Man Trouble -- Saturday Night Fever -- Sleep With Me -- Teacher's Pet -- Waking Life -- The Loss of Sexual Innocence -- Bones (2009) In season 5 episode 3, The Plain in the Prodigy: Amish boy Levi playing his audition piece; repeats as Levi's parents watch the video. -- 127 Hours (2010)[3] The scene begins some years earlier in family home with Aron's younger sister rehearsing Nocturnes, Op.9, No. 2. -- After several days of being pinned by a boulder, Aron Ralston (James Franco), dehydrated, delusional, and believing he is going to die, reminisces his past to the bliss of Nocturne. -- The Raven (2012) Alice Eve's character, Emily, plays Nocturnes Op. 9, No. 2, to an audience as her father converses with Inspector Fields. -- Mad Men (2013) Played on violin by Sandy in the Season 6 premiere "The Doorway" -- Bad Santa (2003) Played at the opening of the film with Billy Bob Thornton's character narrating over it. -- The Purge: Anarchy (2014) Played by a pianist at the auction. -- BioShock Infinite (2013) Played on radios throughout the Finkton Docks area of Columbia. -- Hetalia Axis Powers (2007) Played by Austria in Episode 06. -- Parasyte -the maxim- (2014-2015) Played in its entirety in episode 15 of the anime adaptation. -- Dexter (TV series) (2007) In season 2 episode 7, That Night, a Forest Grew, listened to on headphones while working out by Debra Morgan, at the suggestion of FBI Special Agent Frank Lundy. -- Hannibal (TV series) (2013) In season 1 episode 4, played while Hannibal was having dinner with Jack. -- American Horror Story: Coven (2013) In the opening of the episode "Go To Hell," the song plays as Fiona explains to Queenie what the Seven Wonders are. -- Fallout 4 (2015) Played on the game's Classical Radio station. -- The Simpsons (2014) In the Season 26 premiere's Couch Gag created by Academy Award-nominated surrealist animator Don Hertzfeldt, as a deformed Homer Simpson of the year 10,535 reminisces through the millennia of how his family wasn't so deformed and could still communicate with each other, Nocturnes Op. 9, No. 2, is played in the background, when his family tried telling him that they were still a loving family and would not forget him as the millennia passed on and the series became more dependent on shock humor, non sequiturs and merchandise schilling that through time the family would become more deformed and ultimately forget him. -- Anime : Your lie in April musique classique, klassische Musik,

The End of the Trail: An American Icon

01:44
The End of the Trail, the magnificent iconic statue standing in the entry of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum signifies a Native American and his horse, both weary in body and spirit at the end of their journey. Sculpted by American-born artist James Earle Fraser, The End of the Trail statue is one of the most recognizable images in the United States. Many people are familiar with the image, but few know its history. Originally, it was more than just an image on a postcard, tattoo or belt buckle. It is a major sculptural work, and for its creator, it was more than just a piece of art, but a meaningful reminder of a childhood spent on the American frontier. Follow us! When A Woman Let Her Pet Parrot Out Of Its Cage, Her Cat Was Already Patiently Waiting.

There was only one way to find out, so the pet owner tested her pets’ relationship by setting the bird free. And when she did, the cat was waiting patiently to greet the new arrival. Electonic Bug Zapper Review Elucto Raquet vs Bug-A-Salt 2.0

11:55
Which works better? Electric swatter, or salt blasting Bug-A-Salt, I test them both in this video. Flies, yellowjackets, big game time. Electonic Bug Zapper or Table Salt Shooter, review and demonstration. Get your own electric racket here: https://amzn.to/2vMWU9p Bug A Salt 2.0 for flies: https://amzn.to/2L34a5N When I posted a video about the Bug-a-Salt 2.0 which shows many flies leaving this dimension, many viewers asked me if that thing will also take out wasps, particularly yellow jackets? In this video I demonstrate that the But-A-Salt doesn't destroy yellow jackets, even at point blank range. At most, it will damage the wings of the wasps and you can follow up with your shoe if you'd like to. The Elucto battery powered electric racket claims to be capable of "taking out any flying insect"... well, I don't know if I'd take on a European Hornet with it, but it definitely does the trick on the smaller yellow jackets and other wasps. It will make short work inside your home, of spiders, flies (if you can hit them) and pesky mosquitoes. I enjoyed it and definitely recommend the Bug a Salt for flies and the Elucto Racket for more substantial flying insects that need a little more clout! Zap them right out of the air, against the wall, or place it over a bowl or cup that has your target insect inside.
