LinkedIn Hacks to Generate a Ton of Leads from LinkedIn - Lead Generation using LinkedIn

08:39
LinkedIn Hacks Free PDF : http://www.ebizuniverse.com/linkedin-lead-generation/ Are you looking to get more leads for your business? What is your lead generation strategy? Is it word of mouth? Are you sitting and waiting for a new referral to come in? Are you attending networking lunches and hoping the prospects would call you? What if I told you there was a better way to generate leads? I want you to imagine what an extra 5-10 leads per day would do for your business. Does that mean more sales? Hiring new staff? What I want to do for you in this video is to show you how you can generate more qualified leads and referrals for your business and keep generating it on a consistent basis using a tool you might already be familiar with. First you have to understand that there is a shift going on in the business world right now led by digital media. The old way of doing business is out. There’s a new and better way of doing business using digital media. Businesses who are not willing to adapt their business growth techniques to the current digital landscape are going to continue to see their revenue decline. Digital media is mandatory if you want to grow your business. Social Media and Social networks: There is a lot going on in the Social media world. But I want to focus on LinkedIn. LinkedIn is hands down the #1 social network for client facing companies to get new business. LinkedIn is huge if you want to generate B2B leads. Let's look at the stats: According to Social Media Marketing Industry report, LinkedIn has now surpassed Facebook as the #1 most important social platform for B2B marketers. 80% of leads generated for B2B marketers today come from LinkedIn - Kissmetrics 92% of B2B marketers leverage LinkedIn over all other social platforms - Kissmetrics LinkedIn messages get an 11x better response rate than other methods - Replicon 46% of visits to corporate websites from social come from LinkedIn - Replicon I could go on and on..if you want more proof, simply Google it to find out. So what does that mean? That means you have no choice but to leverage LinkedIn as a lead generation tool for your business. Today I’m going to show you 4 steps on how you can leverage your LinkedIn profile to generate leads: Spice Up your Profile You might already have a profile that is just your title and your job position but you want to modify it to make it attractive and look like a Lead Magnet What problems have you solved for your clients? Case studies, testimonials Contact info, skills, volunteering info, endorsements, recommendations and a Nice picture Once you have worked on your profile, the next thing you want to do is get exposure. Get Exposure - Build Connections Think of your target market - who would you like to do business with? Do you want to connect with General managers, Marketing managers...once you know who you want to connect with, Go to search and execute a search. Create Engagement: The way you create engagement is not by sending random messages that don’t make sense. Basically you want to stand out as an authority in your field. How do you do that? By sharing information that helps your target market. By liking and commenting on other posts...especially influencers in your field. Post something on your profile that makes your connections curious. Share your blogs. Publish on LinkedIn (LinkedIn Pulse) Intelligent Messaging: Once you have your profile ready, your connections built up and you start to position yourself as an authority, it is time to take your LinkedIn to the next level. This is what I call running LinkedIn on over drive. You start with a messaging program to reach your ideal prospect. I want to warn you before you take the leap and start messaging people because this is where most people fail to do it right. How many times have you received a LinkedIn connection request followed by a sales pitch. They want to tell you how great their company is and their product is and why you should buy from them. This is the wrong approach. You have to first develop a relationship before you ask for an appointment or a phone call. So how do you do it the right way? Look at the person’s profile and see what you have in common, are you connected via a friend, a group etc… Then craft a message that is non salesy which will get them to respond. Let the conversation flow and when it is the right time, ask for an appointment of a phone call. So, there you have it! If you follow these steps, you are sure to have a ton of leads for your business on a regular basis: And DON’T FORGET to like the video and subscribe to our channel. Today I’m giving a free PDF download of the steps that will help change your LinkedIn profile into a lead generating machine. Go ahead and click the link below to grab your FREE download. http://www.ebizuniverse.com/linkedin-lead-generation/

financial reporting 101, understanding financial reporting basics and fundamentals

01:24:42
financial reporting 101, understanding financial reporting basics and fundamentals. Financial reporting is a vital part of corporate governance. In this lesson, you'll learn what financial reporting is, its primary components, its purpose, and be provided with some examples. Financial Reporting Defined: Financial reporting involves the disclosure of financial information to management and the public (if the company is publicly traded) about how the company is performing over a specific period of time. Financial reports are usually issued on a quarterly and annual basis. This is different from management reporting, which is financial information that is disclosed to those inside the company to be used to make decisions within the company. Financial reports are included in a public company's annual report. Purpose: Financial reporting serves two primary purposes. First, it helps management to engage in effective decision-making concerning the company's objectives and overall strategies. The data disclosed in the reports can help management discern the strengths and weaknesses of the company, as well as its overall financial health. Second, financial reporting provides vital information about the financial health and activities of the company to its stakeholders including its shareholders, potential investors, consumers, and government regulators. It's a means of ensuring that the company is being run appropriately. You should note that if a company is publicly traded, it is subject to some very strict reporting regulations enforced by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Financial Statements and Analysis Let's take a look at the primary financial statements used in financial reporting and what each will tell you about the company. A balance sheet is a snapshot of what the company owns and how it financed what it owns, through borrowing or through the company owners' investments. Now, let's look at it in a more technical sense. A balance sheet is based on the standard accounting model: Assets = Liabilities + Equity. The balance sheet breaks down these components and reports the company's assets, liabilities, and equity.

The role of leadership in software development

01:32:05
Google Tech Talks May 6, 2008 ABSTRACT When you look around, there are a lot of leaders recommended for software development. We have the functional manager and the project manager, the scrum master and the black belt, the product owner and the customer-on-site, the technical leader and the architect, the product manager and the chief engineer. Clearly that's too many leaders. So how many leaders should there be, what should they do, what shouldn't they do, and what skills do they need? This will be a presentation and discussion of leadership roles in software development -- what works, what doesn't and why. Speaker: Mary Poppendieck Mary Poppendieck started her career as a process control programmer, moved on to manage the IT department of a manufacturing plant, and then ended up in product development, where she was both a product champion and department manager. Mary considered retirement 1998, but instead found herself managing a government software project where she first encountered the word "waterfall." When Mary compared her experience in successful software and product development to the prevailing opinions about how to manage software projects, she decided the time had come for a new paradigm. She wrote the award-winning book Lean Software Development: An Agile Toolkit in 2003 to explain how the lean principles from manufacturing offer a better approach to software development. Over the past six years, Mary has found retirement elusive as she lectures and teaches classes with her husband Tom. Based on their on-going learning, they wrote a second book, Implementing Lean Software Development: From Concept to Cash in 2006. A popular writer and speaker, Mary continues to bring fresh perspectives to the world of software development. Speaker: Tom Poppendieck Tom Poppendieck has 25 years of experience in computing including eight years of work with object technology. His modeling and mentoring skills are rooted in his experience as a physics professor. His early work was in IT infrastructure, product development, and manufacturing support, and evolved to consulting project assignments in healthcare, logistics, mortgage banking, and travel services. Tom led the development of a world-class product data management practice for a major commercial avionics manufacturer that reduced design to production transition efforts from 6 months to 6 weeks. He also led the technical architecture team for very large national and international Baan and SAP implementations. Tom Poppendieck is an enterprise analyst and architect, and an agile process mentor. He focuses on identifying real business value and enabling product teams to realize that value. Tom specializes in understanding customer processes and in effective collaboration of customer, development and support specialists to maximize development efficiency, system flexibility, and business value. Tom is co-author of the book Lean Software Development: An Agile Toolkit, published in 2003, and its sequel, Implementing Lean Software Development: From Concept to Cash, published in 2006.

Roadster Designer and Media Bashing Tesla + Q&A for Nov 27th, 2017 - Teslanomics LIVE!

Thanks for joining me today! If you'd like to participate in next weeks discussion get on our email list at https://teslanomics.co/join See you then! Ben // Tesla to Use Semi’s for Transport between Gigafctory and Fremont - https://electrek.co/2017/11/25/tesla-semi-electric-truck-customer-cargo-route-fremont-gigafactory/ During a presentation about the new Tesla Semi at the annual conference of Transport and Logistics in the Netherlands today, Tesla VP of Truck programs Jerome Guillen confirmed that they will first address the problem by using their electric semi trucks. He said: “Tesla will be the first customer for the truck. We will use our own truck to carry cargo in the US between our different facilities. We have an assembly facility in California, the Gigafactory in Nevada, so we will use our trucks to carry things in-between.” * No surprise here * Saves them money // Roadster 2 Color Picker - https://mc-astro.github.io/tesla-roadster-colors/ * So fun * Black on Black for me * What will you pick? // Tesla Breaking Laws of Physics with Battery Tech - https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-11-24/tesla-s-newest-promises-break-the-laws-of-batteries These claims are so far beyond current industry standards for electric vehicles that they would require either advances in battery technology or a new understanding of how batteries are put to use, said Sam Jaffe, battery analyst for Cairn Energy Research in Boulder, Colorado. In some cases, experts suspect Tesla might be banking on technological improvements between now and the time when new vehicles are actually ready for delivery. “I don't think they're lying,” Jaffe said. “I just think they left something out of the public reveal that would have explained how these numbers work.” * As I said before * The Roadster isn’t that small * The chargers aren’t that complicated // SHORT - Negative Press Against Tesla Chicago Tribune - http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/commentary/ct-perspec-tesla-driverless-truck-1127-20171121-story.html The push for driverless and electric trucks, evidenced by the recent gaudy rollout of the Tesla semitrailer truck, is a fool’s errand. These “innovations” are akin to improving eight-track and cassette tapes in a world of streaming services. TechCrunch - https://techcrunch.com/2017/11/26/in-praise-of-teslas-bankruptcy/ Jim Chanos summarized all of the reasons why nicely: “If you wouldn’t be short a multi-billion-dollar loss-making enterprise in a cyclical business, with a leveraged balance sheet, questionable accounting, every executive leaving, run by a CEO with a questionable relationship with the truth, what would you be short? It sort of ticks all the boxes.” A lot of people think bankruptcy looms in Tesla’s future. Of course, Tesla bears have been saying this for years, and they’ve consistently been wrong — but this time, are they right? // LONG - Tesla and Others Call for Ethical Cobalt Supply Chain - https://www.cbsnews.com/news/congo-child-labor-apple-tesla-cobalt/ Some estimates say more than a third of all cars in the world could be electric in 20 years. But as the demand and interest for an obscure mineral increases, car manufactures are presented with a new challenge: acquiring enough in time to make electric vehicles. Tesla is among the companies looking for stable and responsibly-sourced supply chains of cobalt, which helps power everything from smartphones to laptops to electric vehicles. It's a key ingredient in lithium batteries, a product that has seen an explosion in demand recently. But 60 percent of the world's cobalt comes from the Congo, where children often do much of the hard labor. Because of that, Apple and Tesla are among companies refusing to use what they term "unethical cobalt" in their batteries. In 2014, a spokesperson for Tesla promised to use only cobalt mined in North America. * Tesla previously stated they want 100% to come from North America * Unlikely that it’s possible * Hopefully a better system will emerge * Is it really possible to tell? (Diamonds for example are nearly impossible to verify) // GLOBAL - Norway Ditching Tesla Tax - http://nordic.businessinsider.com/norway-tesla-tax-2017-11/ Norway, considered an electric vehicle pioneer, has been mulling a new tax on the emission-free vehicles. Since the government's proposed one-off fee is based on the vehicle's weight, it's quickly started being called the "Tesla tax." // New here?
