The McIntyre mine is located just outside of Ouray, Colorado. There is year round, running water on the claim, that can be used in support of mining operations. This site was historically mined for gold, but plenty of pyrite, quartz, and iron can also be found around the claim and in the tailings and the stream.

Eagle Mine was a Colorado silver mine founded in the 1880s which went on to become the the largest producer of Silver in Colorado. It shut down in the 1980s. The closure of the mine resulted in its eventual flooding, which in turn contaminated the groundwater and prompted the EPA to step in and order the evacuation of the nearby town. In this video we explore some of the remaining surface structures. NOTE: I apologize for the quality of this video. We hiked down the side of the cliff and ran out of water along the way. I was exhausted and the lens got dirty in the process. I've identified some changes I'll be implementing in upcoming videos regarding sound and video quality. Stay tuned. The Alaska claim is a very historic claim with detailed history. It produced 1750 ounces of gold prior to 1880 and another 3200 ounces by 1941. The claim is made up of one primary adit, a primary shaft, and a series of prospects.

Our mining claim neighbors called the Cops! People living on the other side of the river where our mining claim is and not liking our mining, called the cops. It appears our neighbors just did not want their liberal utopia disturbed so they call the cops to harass us. The police were very cool as I knew one of them from checking our permits on another river couple months earlier and an Oregon DEQ meeting he showed up at. The rude lady yells to at from other side of river "you need a permit to do that"...we had them of course. She also told cops we were disrespecful and rude to her...which was totally false. She made up her own narrative about what was happening to justify her being annoyed. Liberal tactic # 3, change the narrative or just plain lie! This is the short version of the video, filmed on the Applegate River in Oregon while we were LEGALLY GOLD MINING! In the video, it is a continuous video, shot on my GoPro camera that I was wearing on my head. The video shows me mining and moving around with no editing to show what actually goes on while mining. Then my buddy is helping me move rocks while I'm using a sub-surface dredge...then the cops show up , and I tell him is where the action starts. UPDATE Jan 1st, 2015: In response to some of the comments saying we are uneducated, rednecks and other stuff...the guys in the video are as follows. One is a millionaire CPA, another a self employed business owner, two others are also self employed and owns a body shop and the other an internet marketer and freelance videographer, and lastly one is the son of the CPA guy and currently in college. Oregon Mining Law: Next time this happens, I will ask the State Police to cite the offending people who disrupt our mining operation based on this Oregon Mining Law: "ORS 517.133 Interfering with a mining operation. (1) As used in this section, "lawful mining operation" means any small scale mining operation that is in full compliance with state and federal laws. (2) A person commits the crime of interfering with a mining operation if the person intentionally: (a) Interferes with a lawful mining operation; or (b) Stops, or causes to be stopped, a lawful mining operation. (3) Interfering with a mining operation is a Class C misdemeanor. [1999 c.354 §6]" Here is the GoPro camera I was using: http://amzn.to/19yYus6

The St. Mary Mines are high mountain, Colorado mining sites, situated in the St Mary Glacial Bowl. . Native Gold and some silver can be easily picked out of the substantial waste dumps found on the site. With the amount of gold that has been discarded, it is likely there are still some amazing high grade gold deposits underground.

The very high grade deposit I found last year is still paying! Mostly fine gold in the minus 20 mesh size under 3-4 feet of material. Wow! Seeing that much gold in the pan after a cleanup is amazing! (Disclaimer: Results not typical, individual results may vary...) Good hunting Gold bugs! Stay tuned for more Gold Adventures!

A very impressive and remote old mining claim. This is a very high elevation Colorado claim located at over 11,800'. As the historical documents note, the mine was worked for silver and gold historically. Gold was in native form and the silver was in a sulphide form. Silver of this sort needs some extensive processing but with values over 20 OST it may be well worth it. The gold volume was noted to be in sporadic, high grade pockets. One of these pockets was rumored to have delivered over 600 ounces in 97% pure, native gold just a few feet underground.

UPDATE: This mine has been sold. Thank you. The Kreutzer is a large lode and placer claim, on the west end of Creede, Colorado. Opened in 1892, the Kreutzer was historically mined for gold. And for good reason. The mine is located on Miners Creek, right below several other large mines. This makes it an excellent place for placering, as gold from the mines above is swept along through the creek. There is one gated adit, obstructed with dirt and slough that has accumulated over the last 20 years. Only the top 4 inches of the gate can still be seen; therefore, this entrance will need to be dug out before it can be accessed. There are remnants of a miners workshop on the claim, as well as a year round water source. The Kreutzer, in its ideal location, could be worked either on a small scale or commercially with permitting.

National Bureau of Mines: http://www.nationalbureauofmines.org/ Today on Gold Rush Media we present the Grizzly Gulch mine, located right outside of the old mining town of St. Elmo, Colorado. There are some beautiful ores inside the mine and Jessica walks us through some of the historical structures on the site. The Grizzly Gulch claim covers 4 adits. The lower two adits are near the road and have been reclaimed. However, the upper two adits have been almost completely forgotten. One of the adits is open and the other has been purposely closed by the miners prior to 1900. The gold found in the tailings outside these upper adits is nothing short of stunning. This likely just scratches the surface, as to what has been found and uncovered underground.

The Grays Peak Mine is historically known as the Broken Handle Mine. It resides at the base of Kelso Mountain in Colorado. This claim is a rare oasis in an area full of private land. The mine is known for its gold production but was hindered in the past by its remote location and extremely expensive logistics costs in getting the ores down the mountain.

The Pennsylvania is an incredible 80 acre mining claim, offering rich mining history, and a huge potential for production. The mine produced gold and silver with trace amounts of lead, zinc, iron, and copper. It has a long and detailed history and made millionaires out of many investors prior to 1941.

When the USFS comes knockin' at Miah and Derek's claim, Miah lays down the (mining) law. As a miner it’s important to understand your rights on your legitimate and valid mining claim. Don’t let the Forest Service bully you off your claim. If the proper steps are taken to locate, record, and process your mineral rights claim, then the Forest service cannot stop you from casual use mining. There’s Gold In Them Hills! The Right Time for an Informed Investor! CALIFORNIA GOLD MINE “ For Sale “ ___Cherry Hill Mine___ The Cherry Hill Mine: Established in 1892, a formerly producing, small underground high-grade gold mine. One of the benefits of purchasing a past-producing mine is that the cost of moving into production is much lower than the cost of bringing a mine from the exploration phase to the production phase. Location: When thinking of mines you tend to visualize a hard-to-reach, remote, backcountry hillsides that require vast amounts of money to ensure adequate infrastructure. That isn’t the case with Cherry Hill. Because Cherry Hill is a formerly producing mine, all the infrastructure is already there. That means you have a leg up on some of the costs involved with getting the mine up and running. The mine is just a short ride from the town of Yreka, California, down a state-operated, paved road that turns into a well-maintained gravel road. It's easy to get to and has great access to the I-5, a major artery running north-south along the West Coast. It also means that when you do ramp up production, the heavy-duty trucks won't have much of an issue getting the ore from the mine to the mill. Historical Geological Reports: 1892 0.97 oz Au/ton with Ore running at $20.00 Au/ton (Yreka Journal, 11/16/1892). In 1892 100 tons milled by Selby avg. $61.00/ton (3oz Au equivalent/ton) (Yreka Journal 12/7/1892). On July 24th 1900 the mill run produced $5,300. (254.4 oz Au; 10.7 oz/day; 10 tons/day at 1 oz Au/ton Mining and Scientific Press 7/14/1900). 2003 Core Drilling produced 25' of 1.024 oz Au/ton - 30' of 4.758 oz Au/ton and 39.5 oz Ag/ton. Historical Resource Estimate by R. L Hill, CA Reg.Geologist #3386, Jan 5, 2009. Primary Target - Queen Vein WQ #3 and WQ #4 levels at 8889 yrds³ = 20,000 short tons at 1 opt at $1200 worth $24,000,000. Level 2 - WQ #4 to Camp Level at 9778 yrds³ = 22,000 short tons at 1 opt at $1,200 worth $26,400,000. Camp Level to Long Tunnel Adit approx 300,000 oz...previous owner estimation. 42,000 tons blocked out - based on established mine plan. 43-101 independent Technical Report completed May 22nd, 2012. Between 2011 - 2013 approx $2.6 million spent on exploration and development mining (all figures verified by audit). Low cost producer - estimated cost per oz Au at $400. Metallurgy testing (Norris Labs of Montana) indicates 95% recoveries for gold and 87% for silver. 80% of recoverable ore from gravity. Eight known adits on 7 unpatented lode claims situated on 94.6 Acres. Multiple assays completed with underground surveys. Defining a resource is a big expense for exploration companies, costing millions of dollars to complete. In purchasing a previously producing mine, You will have forgone the costly resource definition process because, “this was all done, we know what's here, so just go mine it!” Price $1,295,000 - Will consider all reasonable offers For the opportunity to discuss the mines in further detail, please contact: Philip Physioc [email protected] or (702) 822-0237

Take a short trip with me to Dawson City, Canada. Have a look at how the "average, not for TV" miner gets gold. No staged arguments, breakdowns, or deadlines. No scripted drama, or ridiculous million ounce goals. Just average miners trying to make a few bucks and have a little fun doing it. The mining season lasts from May to the first of October, or as soon as the water freezes. Thanks for watching. This is a copy of a previously uploaded video. I was forced to re upload this video due to technical reasons, sorry for any inconvenience.

I mention in the first part of this video that I can not say enough good things about Silverton and it's true. A nice little mountain town, exactly what you would expect one to be. The history is worth learning about and a few drives into the mountains are most definitely worth doing. We camped fro a week just west of town on Mineral Creek at a place called Kendal Campground. There are many places along this road to camp for free. The setting is awesome. The Old Hundred Mine Tour is a tourist type thing to do. We enjoyed it. I think the kids really get a kick out of it. Special thanks to our guide Joe who did a really good job. Animas Forks is a ghost town up in the mountains to the northeast of Silverton, two wheel drive passable. It was another really nice trip. From there we continued down a 4x4 road to Ouray. It was a bit more than I would have liked to do but really exciting. I prefer to travel these types of roads with a few other people for safety, since we were alone it was a bit nerve racking. Lots of fun for sure but kind of rough a time or two not to mention very steep in places. The highlight of our trip there was the hike to Ice Lake. It is a do not miss destination, however you need to be in shape for this one, it's long and steep. I have also done a video on that trip with all the details. From the initial discovery of gold in the mid 1800's to the creation of a state historic site, South Pass City has witnessed much of Wyoming's history. In addition to being the site of Wyoming's first big gold strike, South Pass City was instrumental in Wyoming becoming a territory and ultimately a state. It was the birthplace of women's suffrage, the first territory to grant women the right to vote and hold public office. But South Pass City is perhaps best known as Wyoming's first boom and bust town, with hard working and hard drinking miners, loose women, gambling and the entrepreneurial businesses who profited from their dreams of instant wealth.

Our team staked the claim, photographed all of the workings and assayed several samples of ore. The lower adit's average gold content is 3.63 oz/ton based off of 3 assays. These values are phenomenal, and justify this mine's amazing value.

The Great bear mine is a large and historic gold mining operation, just outside of Quartzsite, Arizona. A series of portals are opened up along a wide quartz body that is heavily concentrated with oxidized iron. Perfect breeding ground for gold. Many of the mine openings connect via trenches. The veins in the mine range from 3 feet to 9 feet as documented by local geologists and the USGS. Old reports note 3 veins that are large and gold bearing. Only the center vein has been worked in earnest. When the mine was shut down by the War Act there was over 30,000 tons of ore (reserves) on the center vein with an average return of 3 OPT in gold. Do your math on that.

From 1902 to 1941, the Regan Mine was a lucrative operation, mostly run by small miners. In 1939, the mine was reportedly bought by the Paymaster Mining Company for over $200,000, but was soon shut down due to the War Act. The Regan mine is massive and its workings are relatively untouched. Currently, there is an abundance of processing equipment on the claim, including a crusher, a shaker, and a smelter. There is also a year round supply of water on the claim. This claim is perfect for small operations, which could grow into larger operations as the veins and deposits are further explored.
