VLOG PAGE https://www.iamklewisblog.com Testosterone boosters are a class of herbal or otherwise legal supplements that aim to increase levels of Testosterone in the body. This page discusses all compounds either marketed as or investigated for their usage as testosterone boosters or pro-androgenic compounds. For this reason, entries below may not actually boost testosterone. Many of the compounds below do indeed boost testosterone levels in some studies, but others either require hypogonadism or are just aphrodisiacs. Note on Aromatase Inhibitors A novel mechanism of increasing testosterone in men is through inhibiting the aromatase enzyme (also known as CYP1A1/2). This enzyme serves many purposes, one of which is to convert androgens (like testosterone) to estrogens. For more, see: anti-estrogen/aromatase inhibitors. Inhibiting the enzyme itself can increase testosterone and lower estrogen. Aromatase inhibitors can be useful as single supplements to take in order to switch the body to a more androgenic state. Increasing testosterone by other means, such as hypothalamic stimulation (see: D-Aspartic Acid and possibly Anacyclus pyrethrum), can yield more testosterone independent of this enzyme, and the enzyme's activity may be increased to compensate. In this scenario, supplementation with an aromatase inhibitor may be prudent to avoid the increase in estrogen caused by the increase in testosterone. It may not be needed (in the truest sense of the word) with nutraceuticals, but would still be a good idea regardless.

Buck and Porter talk risk management, the latest false starts with North Korea, and Porter reveals three "battleship businesses" that in his mind are so reliable, entrenched, and permanent, the typical rules of risk management just don't apply. Brandon from Dallas asks Porter how to distinguish from "good debt" and "bad debt" when it comes to determining which companies will go under in the coming corporate debt meltdown. His trend-monitoring podcast has racked up seven million listens, and he's the author of Trend Following: How to Make a Fortune in Bull, Bear, and Black Swan Markets. 02:31 Are we at war with North Korea yet – or are we finally best friends? It seems to Porter like this is an elementary school spat, where two tough guys can drop the act on a dime and become best friends. Buck explains why it will be months before we know. 07:45 Michael Covel tells Porter why he's dialing in from Vietnam and what he's doing there, and why he spends 80% of his time in Asia these days. 09:34 Porter asks Michael how he, as an investor who thinks of buying shares as owning a part of a business, can connect that mentality with a trend-follower who doesn't see value so much as numbers on a screen. Michael explains how trend-crunching quick hits and long-term value investing are compatible. 13:17 Porter asks Michael how his trend-trading strategy would apply to a well-known giant like Microsoft, and Michael explains how earnings, acquisitions and potential deals are utterly irrelevant in the face on just one thing. 17:26 Porter asks about the one aspect of trend following that he can't get his head around….it doesn't seem to play any part at all in the missions of using capital as a creative force that markets ultimately exist for. 22:52 What's the best market that Michael has followed as a trend trader? Porter asks if, looking over his 30 years of trend-following, there's been any sector that's especially lucrative or easy to get right. Michael explains why currency trades underlie his entire strategy. 30:05 Porter goes back to the August 2017 essay he wrote warning a market correction was inevitable, months before February's crash – and what the market indicator he relied on then is saying now. 36:25 Buck asks Porter a philosophical question about "buy and hold" vs. "buy and fold." Let's say you buy into something you expect could soar in 12-18 months on a catalyst – and it gets hammered in the meantime. Can you ignore your stop losses? Porter says you can, under these two conditions. 39:45 Porter reveals the kind of company – "battleship businesses" – where the ordinary rules of risk management just don't apply. 42:15 Brandon from Dallas asks about Porter's thesis that debt is about to crush dozens of iconic companies, and asks if there's any kind of benchmark regular investors can use to determine whether a company's debt is at sustainable levels or not. 46:10 Craig from the mailbag asks if there's a way to check mutual funds for exposure to the coming corporate debt meltdown, or if these mutual funds should be avoided in general. Porter explains why most mutual funds won't be at the epicenter of the corporate bond crisis –and reveals which funds you want to be wary of anyway.

Is Administrative Review of Granted Patents Constitutional? The U.S. Supreme Court granted certiorari in Oil States Energy Services v. Greene’s Energy Group, a case in which the petitioner argues that the most prominent U.S. Patent and Trademark Office process for analyzing the validity of granted patents “violates the Constitution by extinguishing private property rights through a non-Article III forum without a jury.” Duke Law's Center for Innovation Policy gathered distinguished practitioners and legal scholars from a variety of perspectives to discuss potential implications of the case for patent law, for the administrative state, and for affected industries. How Much Salt Should be in Your Water Softener Please share this video https://youtu.be/C3TpdeNX58E For more great information about water treatment, subscribe! https://www.youtube.com/user/WaterStoreMidland Follow me https://www.facebook.com/TheWaterFilterEstore/ https://twitter.com/FilterEstore https://www.linkedin.com/company/the-water-filter-estore/ or email [email protected] or [email protected] Check out our online store at https//www.TheWaterFilterEstore.com or our full service store in Midland, Ontario at https//www.TheWaterStoreMidland.com How Much Salt Should be in Your Water Softener It might seem obvious to some, but I often hear that there is confusion about how much salt should be in your water softener brine tank, especially families who have experienced a salt clog from over filling their brine tank. The short answer is that the salt level should be higher than the water level for the water softener to perform as designed, but there is more to it than just that. Also, what if your water softener is a "pre fill" model where there is no water in the brine tank after regeneration? Like a lot of things the real answer to how much salt is, "it depends". First you should review my video "How Does a Water Softener Work". Since a water softener sucks out all of the brine (water absorbed salt solution) during the regeneration process, the water must actually be touching the salt to absorb it. So if your water level is above the salt level the water above the salt will not absorb the amount of salt that was intended and you will not regenerate the media fully during the regeneration cycle resulting in hard water for your family. So does this mean you should always keep the brine tank full of salt? No! Since water softeners are very efficient and just about all of them are metered, they use far less salt than ever before, especially high efficiency models like the Aquamaster water softeners. The best water softener salts on the market right now are the ones that are very pure like Windsor System Saver Salt which although it works great, if it does not turn over often enough, it will bind together or clog because there is no dirt to keep the salt from forming clogs. Also, since the water softener's salt usage fully depends on how much water you use (less people = less water usage) and the level of your family's water hardness you can cause yourself considerable grief by keeping it too full, if you're a small family and or your hardness level is relatively low. Compounding this issue is that most water softener brine tanks are too large for the average family application. So what's the bottom line? If your family is relatively small (3 people or less) and your water is not extremely hard (20 gpg or higher) keep your brine tank no more than 1/2 full. Larger families can go up to 3/4 full but no one (other than a commercial application) should keep their brine tanks 100% full. Bill Janeway will be discussing his latest book, Doing Capitalism in the Innovation Economy. In this fully revised and updated edition, Janeway interweaves his professional experience with political and financial history, giving a lively explanation of how successive technological revolutions have transformed the market economy, and revealing why America may yield leadership of the innovation economy to China. William H. Janeway has lived a double life of “theorist-practitioner,” according to the legendary economist Hyman Minsky, who first applied that term to him twenty-five years ago. In his role as “practitioner,” Bill Janeway has been an active growth equity investor for more than 40 years. He is a senior advisor and managing director of Warburg Pincus, where he has been responsible for building the information technology investment practice, as well as a director of Magnet Systems and O'Reilly Media. As a “theorist," he is an affiliated member of the Faculty of Economics of Cambridge University, a member of the board of directors of the Social Science Research Council and the Fields Institute for Research in the Mathematical Sciences, and of the Advisory Board of the Princeton Bendheim Center for Finance. Whats Good everybody, we are here again talking about Dianabol. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND IT Dianabol represents one of the most popular and one of the most important anabolic steroids of all time. Without question, this is the most popular oral steroid to ever hit the market and one of the most popular steroids in any form. While almost always found as an oral tablet, Dianabol can be found as an injectable solution, but the tablets represent the primary route of administration. Why is this steroid so important? In many ways, it gave birth to the age of modern performance enhancement. It was not the first anabolic steroid used for that purpose, that would belong to testosterone, but Dianabol would open the door to a new wave of steroid use that has grown beyond what anyone expected. Dianabol represents one of the only anabolic steroids that was developed for the sole purpose of performance enhancement. The compound did carry listed therapeutic uses at one time, but performance was the true reason this steroid was given life. Through the 1940’s and 50’s the Soviet Union had begun to dominate the Olympic games, and the use of testosterone by many of its athletes left the rest of the world lagging far behind. During this time, U.S. Olympic team Dr. John Ziegler would learn of the U.S.S.R.’s steroid use, and quickly would aid in ensuring his athletes would match up. In 1958, with the help of Dr. Ziegler, Ciba Pharmaceuticals would release the first batches of Methandrostenolone under the trade name Dianabol. The compound was designed in an effort to maintain the anabolic properties of testosterone with less androgenicity in a fast acting, powerful method. Seemingly overnight the steroid was a massive success, giving many U.S. athletes a distinct advantage over their Soviet rivals. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Iron Conflicts is a platform which promotes the Spirit and enthusiasm of Indian Athletes in their respective fields, By Providing them option to reach a large no. of audience and showcase their talent and dedication. George Church, Ph.D. had unconventional beginnings, publishing five papers on x-ray crystallography of tRNA – or transfer RNA, a small type of RNA molecule that helps decode the DNA sequence into a protein – while flunking out of graduate school at Duke University. Changing schools, he successfully finished his doctoral work at Harvard University and is now regarded as one of the leading innovators of the Human Genome Project. He currently works on the cutting edge of contemporary genetic investigation as professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Church’s oral history is essentially a history of DNA sequencing technology with vital insights into what the future may hold. The National Human Genome Research Institute’s (NHGRI) Oral History Collection features discussions with influential figures in the field of genomics and the history of institute. Intended for researchers and scholars, each oral history contains extensive conversation about science and medicine, biographical details and insights into the inner workings of institutions and initiatives. For more information, visit NHGRI’s History of Genomics Program at: https://www.genome.gov/27557501. Check out NHGRI's Oral History Collection at https://www.genome.gov/27568323.

Visiting Artist Lecture Series, the Department of Visual Art presents Guerrilla Girls, April 3, 2019 at the Salomon Center, Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. The Guerrilla Girls are feminist activist artists. They wear gorilla masks in public and use facts, humor and outrageous visuals to expose gender and ethnic bias as well as corruption in politics, art, film, and pop culture. Their anonymity keeps the focus on the issues, and away from who they might be: they could be anyone and they are everywhere. They believe in an intersectional feminism that fights discrimination and supports human rights for all people and all genders. They undermine the idea of a mainstream narrative by revealing the understory, the subtext, the overlooked, and the downright unfair. This project is made possible, in part, by the Brown Arts Initiative, the Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America, the Cogut Institute for the Humanities, History of Art and Architecture, the Department of Modern Culture and Media, Program in Literary Arts, the Pembroke Center, the Sarah Doyle Center for Women and Gender, and the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies. http://utahtexans.com/ Click on the link above for a free video guide to dietary supplements and alternative medicine! Today I'm going to share with you the leading BCAA side effects as well as what it’s used for. There is something called amino acids that the body needs in order to build and repair organs, tissues, muscles, hair and even nails. Some of these amino acids you can actually create in the human body and there are some that you can't. The amino acids that you can't create are called essential and you have to get them through food. There are around 9 or 10 of them. BCAA are the essential amino acids L-Leucine, L-Valine and L-Isoleucine. They are used to prevent muscle breakdown and improve a person's fitness goals. These essential amino acids are frequently sold as a dietary supplement and there are some risks with taking them. One of the largest dangers has to do with negative interactions between supplements and prescription drugs. This is why if you're taking any prescription drug it best to let a qualified physician know what you're doing. They probably will not object to it, but it's best to be safe. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not take this supplement. Not enough is known about these amino acids when it comes to interacting with a developing human being. Of course one supplement a pregnant woman really should take is a multivitamin. If someone has a specific medical condition they also should be cautious of this supplement. Someone with chronic alcoholism shouldn't take BCAA because it can really damage the liver and the brain. If someone has branched-chain ketoaciduria also known as maple syrup urine disease they shouldn't take this supplement. Can you guess why the disease is called maple syrup urine? It's because a person's urine smells like maple syrup. Another disease that doesn't match well with this dietary supplement is ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease. Lou Gehrig was a famous American Baseball player that helped get ALS really well known. BCAA can increase the chance of lung failure as well as dying in patients diagnosed with ALS. An additional danger with BCAA along with any dietary supplement is that your body may just not like it. There is a small chance a person could experience an upset stomach, vomiting, diarrhea and an allergic reaction. Some people also experience unexpected fatigue as well as a loss of coordination, which can make it dangerous to operate a motor vehicle. Lastly, if someone is about to have surgery it's best not to use this dietary supplement because it can interfere with blood sugar. WebMD recommends for someone to stop using this supplement 2 weeks before surgery. To sum everything up the leading BCAA side effects is that it negatively interacts with prescription drugs. They shouldn't be taken if someone is pregnant, breastfeeding, about to have surgery, have the ailments ALS, maple syrup urine disease or have chronic alcoholism. A person could experience an upset stomach, vomiting, diarrhea, an allergic reaction, fatigue and a loss of coordination. Supplements and alternative medicine can be confusing and even harmful. Make things really simple and give your body a HUGE edge by viewing a free video guide I created at http://utahtexans.com/.

Science in policy and regulation presents an interesting challenge in a federal system of government. On the one hand, we view scientific knowledge as immutable across political boundaries and indifferent to hierarchy of political jurisdiction. The scientific understanding of the impact of fracking on the environment, the utility of a new medical therapeutic or the risk of nanoparticle accumulation in the body transcends national, state or local government jurisdictional boundaries. One the other hand, our federal system celebrates diversity of opinion and regulatory experimentation based on that diversity. Under circumstances of genuine uncertainty, and in contexts of geographically constrained impact, this diversity of opinion may generate not only a Brandeisian laboratory of democracy, but laboratories of scientific discovery. However, when impacts cannot be readily contained, when should or can local diversity of opinion and belief outweigh a collective decision at a national, or even state, level?

Lactose is a disaccharide found in milk which is made up of glucose and galactose, both monosaccharides. Lactase is the enzyme that breaks up lactose into glucose and galactose. Most humans have the ability to break down lactose in milk because they produce lactase in their digestive tract, however is is possible for them to loose this ability over time. If a person does not produce the lactase to breakdown lactose, they are referred to as lactose intolerant. Cats are often lactose intolerant because their production of lactase decreases dramatically after weaning. We can produce lactose-free milk by treating milk containing lactose with the enzyme lactase. This can be done in the lab using the following steps: 1) A syringe is used to add a mixture of sodium alginate and lactase to a solution of calcium chloride drop by drop to form beads of immobilized lactase 2) The immobilized lactase beads are placed inside a syringe which has tubing attached to it (closed by a clamp) and a gauze inside it (to prevent beads from becoming stuck). 3) The milk containing lactose is added and allowed to sit in contact with the lactase 4) Th milk is cycled through and the glucose concentration is tested 5) Steps 3-4 are repeated and the concentration of glucose measured each time Upon repeated cyclings it can be observed that the glucose concentration increases with each cycle. This is because the lactase is gradually breaking down the lactose in the milk into glucose and galactose. The process can be on an industrial scale to treat milk and milk products before they are available for human consumption.
