NOTE: The car in this video is rented and we aren't trying to suggest otherwise (I was on holiday!). I discuss it in a video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20-XNQHylqw There are stories of traders making millions every year, and stories of traders losing every penny they've got. So what's the truth? How much do traders earn? Nicholas talks about the reality of the trader lifestyle. Are you ready to learn our unique approach to trading for FREE? It's pathetic that most of his vids have little to no dislikes but he literally makes 1 video with a car in it and it has a ton of dislikes lol these people came to learn about how to make money blfrom someone but then hate him for having it. Trash.

Hello where did you learn to trade? Was it with a Proprietary Trading Company, investment bank or Hedge Fund ? Or are you self taught? Also what exchanges do you trade on, or is it through OTC spread betting companies ?
The Lavish Trader (1 year ago)
Love the honesty in this video. A lot of these Forex traders do a lot of flexing. Yeah they could be making 6-figures a year, but the lifestyle is bs. Most of them drive rented out cars and shoot videos from nice homes in AirBnB's and going on cheap trips that the average person could pay for. It's all about being realistic. Do what works for you, study higher-time frames and entries on lower time-frames to break it all down.

Man, I like some of your videos like PTJ or J. Livermore, ect. But this bullshits about cars, nices places ect just can't listen what you say.

I love ALL of your videos, but this was a little bit a harsh show off :P
This video makes me cringe!

The smaller the timeframe the lower the quality of the setups and the higher the exeuction costs. If you trade the daily profitable you'll still probably outperform Warren buffets Value investing while having a lot of free time and having less stress
Samuel Hendrickson (15 days ago)
76Aurus it’s not consistent for the majority. It takes a lot of effort to get to point where you can be consistent. Most people quit by then
buylow (1 year ago)
76Aurus at least one guy gets it. Day trading isn't consistent imo

Brokerages say "traders do not survive six months on the market" do you agree?
I'd agree that most don't, because most people jump in too quickly without actually respecting the fact that you need to learn first - or thinking they've learnt enough when really they've barely scratched the surface.
SwingFish (1 year ago)
get out of my car ! haha .. just kidding ... short message .. but is the truth !! the "problem" is that many traders think they can make a million in 6 weeks .. you can do that in 1 trade if you have 100 millions on the account ;)

Hated the warren buffet example with value investing. "wait until your old and wrinkly and can't even enjoy the money you made"
Dan Okero (1 month ago)
Right. Buffet appears to be enjoying himself wrinkled as a raisin as he may be. Except he just lost couple billion over his Heinz/Kraft portfolio 😂

You know you're rich when you drive a Maserati in the snow. LOL
schweizer93 (2 months ago)
+Ivan I No. Not a new one, maybe one with over 100'000 km.. Especially not in Switzerland (That's a Swiss license plate just saying), where the price for a new Maserati Ghibli start with CHF 79'800 according to the Maserati Website (10.02.2019).

+Oliver Grzonkowski In Europe you can buy this car for 30 000 euros. It`s not that expensive.

if someone is selling a system you better investigate how they made their money and look at brokerage statements. anyone can open two brokers accounts, hedge their positions and report the winners from appropriate account and come out break even while selling subscriptions to fools. "A fool and his money..." they say. Most fools don't even make it to the market with their money. Does anyone know if this dude posts brokerage statements?

You forgot your cameraman....;-)
Haha made me laugh. This video makes me cringe every time!

Nic, do you know what average annual returns the proprietary traders for banks and intuitions make. Is the figure something like 14-15% in a good year. Talking about only averge returns "across the board" not the top traders.
Amit KP (2 years ago)
Btw, last year S&P made 9% odd while across the board hedge funds a meager 5.6%. SAC made just 1% after turning into a family office with top traders leaving the shop due SEC ban.
I wouldn't really say there's an 'across the board' average return, because there are so many different types of traders within those institutions. Different assets, different mandates/restrictions, access to capital and products etc. If you're talking about 14-15%, you're probably getting that figure more from investment funds, but that will be based on a full portfolio strategy rather than the trading of a specific asset class.

Nicky, I saw your video: TRADER MOTIVATION and then saw (yesterday) the movie: Limitless, and realized that the principal actor has a Maserati ike you hahaha. Did this movie was an influence to buy a Maserati or not? I found out the name of the movie thanks to your motivational video, I searched then on google: "Bradley Cooper trading movie" then I saw the name was Limitless and went straight to netflix. Awesome haha
Max Leaman (2 years ago)
Limitless is not a trading movie haha
Oliver Grzonkowski (2 years ago)

Wacha Lookinat (2 years ago)
If i pay 700£ for your trading course, do you GUARANTEE that i will one day make MILLIONS from trading AND will afford my own maserati? Honest question, expecting honest answer.

+Raghavendra Rao no sports car has ever one an f1 race Rao. But even buying an F1 car there's zero guarantee.

__ Bilak_78__ (2 years ago)
The real answer is that you are in charge of how much you earn. As long as it's your strategy that works good for you, then you can make as much as u you like. But remember to limit yourself. Because raking to big of a step can "break your nose".

What websites do you use?
Todd Lavigne (2 years ago)
Actually the smaller timeframe you go down to opportunities fail more often in my experience. Depends what market you trade.
Yummer7 (2 years ago)
I started out doing 5 secs chart, talk about risk..lol
Todd Lavigne (2 years ago)
I love hearing guys educate others about how to scalp the 1 and 5 minute charts. Good luck LOL
isaac mortimer (2 years ago)
Especially with instruments such as forex that are heavily manipulated, the higher timeframes certainly reduce risk when it comes to stop hunts etc.
trend trader (2 years ago)
false information! it totally depends on your strategy if it will work in different time TF, example a SUPPORT AND RESISTANCE strategy will not work the same way in a 1hr TF than it would in a 5 min
Todd Lavigne (2 years ago)
+RBaziFX interesting to know...thanks
RBaziFX (2 years ago)
Todd Lavigne this isn't 100% true. with proper backtesting of the strategy you can see what it works with and doesn't. another strategy may work better in smaller time frames than larger, this is why backtesting a strategy is important. I trade two strategies one for swing trading 4 hour charts and one for day trading 5min charts. both work great for there time frames traded in but not the other way around.
Todd Lavigne (2 years ago)
I didn't say you can't trade smaller time frames. I just said there is more noise. You can still trade small time frames with success. Many traders trade smaller time frames. You have to deal with noise.
trend trader (2 years ago)
your totally wrong, are you forgetting the fact that different time frames are traded differently by retail traders or banks? this will effect the characteristics of the movements in the different time frames.
